Happy International Anthony Wong Day!

Hey everybody, it's International Anthony Wong Day! I'm just kidding, that is NOT a thing that exists in real life.
However, I did have a dream last night that I had to rescue Anthony Wong from Angry Birds at San Diego Comic-con (I don't even know), so I thought it would be a good time to do an appreciation post.

Ladies and Gents, the many faces of Anthony Wong, pt. 1:

Beast Cops
A Lamb in Despair
Exiled
Infernal Affairs
Sweet Revenge
Vengeance
Initial D
Legend of the Fist
Full Contact
Kingdom of the Mob
House of Fury
Hong Kong History X
Fist Power

The Underground Banker
Madam City Hunter
McDull: The Alumni

There are a bunch of movies that are still in limbo in boxes around the new house, and I can't bring myself to unpack them all for the life of me. Anyway, this'll have to do for now, I have serious shit to do.

  1. Wow, he looks amazingly bad ass in that VENGEANCE picture. Not seen that one.

  2. It's not many people's favorite, but I enjoy it.

  3. International Anthony Wong day really should be a thing. A day of celebration around the world culminating in a worldwide screening of The Untold story!

  5. A multi-pic post of Anthony Wong only makes me think of the several colored jackets he wears in Hard Boiled. My favourite is when he's in orange.

  6. Let's make this happen. We have the technology, the time is now! If I could actually find Hard Boiled, I'd post a photo of every jacket.

  7. Admittedly, I've only seen my first Anthony Wong movie a couple of weeks ago (and my first Johnnie To as well), EXILED. He has a great look and presence, and I promised to make it a point to watch as many of his films as I can in the next couple of months. This is a great post that gives me a good idea of what he's all about, without saying much!
